Inventions and Designs

This is my BMWood, a classic BMW boxer that I started dressing in wood in 1994. The design took shape over four winters. The wood used is partly solid teak and partly teak veneer, glued onto metal and bonded with high-quality epoxy adhesives. I have driven it for over 80,000 km in sunshine, heat, rain, cold, and snow. In the end, all I had to change were the metal parts. This was my first serious redesign project of an old police motorcycle, giving it a new look that enchants like a beautiful wooden classic, outshining any plastic finish.
